Amazon Cloud Drive

Use your Amazon account to log into Cloud Drive; then use the application to upload files to the cloud. Launch the Cloud Drive website and use your Amazon account to log into Your Cloud Drive; from there you can view, manage, and share the files you uploaded to the cloud. If you install Cloud Drive on your PC and your Android for example, the data you upload to the cloud will be synced to these devices.

As expected from a cloud service, Amazon Cloud Drive is available for multiple platforms: PC, Mac, iPhone, Android, Kindle Fire, Fire TV.
Here’s what you have to do to install Cloud Drive on a Windows PC: download and run an executable; log into your Amazon account; agree to the terms of use; create the Cloud Drive folder.

While Cloud Drive is running, you will see a cloud-shaped icon in the system tray.
Left click it and the special Cloud Drive folder will open. Any file you place in this folder will be automatically uploaded to the cloud. If you put some photos in the Pictures folder for example, those photos will be uploaded to the cloud.

Right click the Cloud Drive system tray icon and, among other things, you will be presented with the option to open the Cloud Drive website. Log in Your Cloud Drive and you can view the files you uploaded to the cloud, manage the files you uploaded to the cloud, and share the files you uploaded to the cloud. Amazon gives you 5GB of cloud storage space for free. If you need more space, you can always get a paid subscription.
